Fairfax Furniture, like many other companies trying to remain competitive in the marketplace, has had to face the harsh realities of today's global economy. Pressure from all sides has taken its toll on our bottom line, resulting in lackluster financial performance over the last several quarters.
As a result, we’ve had to evaluate new ways of upholding our commitment to delivering maximum shareholder value, and in an effort to reduce costs we’ve had to make a difficult decision.
Fairfax has entered into a contract with Voxx Private Limited, to transfer our call center operation to Bombay, India. I know this will be a personal inconvenience for many of you, and I sincerely regret that.
However, I also know that in the true Fairfax spirit you will rise to this challenge, and meet it head on.
